Emily Grills, MS, LCPC – Lead Therapist
Emily is an experienced therapist working with adults of all ages. She helps clients with anxiety, depression, family dynamics, relationship issues, self esteem, trauma, ADHD, and more.
Emily loves to help clients do boundary work and uncover co-dependent patterns that can show up in both relationships and in the workplace. She also helps her clients with burn-out, communication skills, and establishing work-life balance.
Emily is one of the most knowledgeable counselors in Montana with regards to neuro-diversity. She has expertise working with adult Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADD/ADHD. Emily understands how neuro-diversity may appear “high-functioning” on the outside, but comes with many challenges on the inside, like emotional regulation, overwhelm, sensitivities to stress and environmental factors, and relationship issues.
Emily has a master’s degree from Montana State University in mental health counseling. She is licensed with the state of Montana as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Emily is our lead therapist at Bozeman Counseling Center and also provides supervision for our interns and our provisionally licensed therapists.
Emily is a Montana native and enjoys all things Montana, including floating, skiing, and adventures in nature.
