Welcome, I’m Emily!

Lead Therapist, Clinical Supervisor

I work with clients ages 18 and over, helping them with ADHD and many areas of neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, career issues, academic stressors, relationship issues, life transitions, and much more.

I intend to create an honest, collaborative relationship that supports my clients to be empowered in their mental health development and improvement. I believe in creating safe, transparent environments for my clients to immerse themselves in the counseling process and explore opportunities to be vulnerable and explore their experiences without judgment.

I believe that we all hold certain narratives to be true about ourselves that may need to be explored to develop our own personal truths. My hope is to help my clients find empowerment through personal understanding and self-compassion.

I am passionate about working with clients looking to develop and expand balance in academic and professional responsibilities, personal care improvements, relationship engagement and exploration, and boundary development.

I attended Montana State University for a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and later to earn an MS in counseling, finding a long-term home in Bozeman after growing up outside of Missoula, MT. I have spent many years in various forms of behavioral health care, which has been an opportunity to learn about the extensive impact of neurodiversity on daily life.

I am Bozeman Counseling Center’s lead therapist, which has given me the opportunity to work with provisionally licensed professionals and interns to aid them in developing their own unique style of counseling. The role also helps me to continue to learn the complex science of counseling, and to pursue improvement of my practice consistently.

When I am not at Bozeman Counseling Center, I love spending time with my family and friends, both in Bozeman and around the state. I enjoy taking opportunities to travel to visit loved ones around the country, but I always look forward to continuing to explore our beautiful state of Montana.

If you are interested in working with me on things that you find challenging in your life, I would love for you to reach out!
