Amelia Hennessy, Grad Student Counselor
I have a passion for working with individuals who are struggling with concerns related to neurodiversity, relationship struggles, anxiety, traumatic events, and more.
I take an empathetic approach to therapy, incorporating holistic modalities and trauma-informed care. I also use a solutions and outcome based approach, utilizing measurement tools to ensure my clients are achieving their goals for therapy. Above all, I prioritize creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their emotions and work towards making changes.
In addition to my professional life as a counselor, I enjoy skiing, mountain biking, and knitting in my free time. These activities help me to maintain my own well-being and give me the energy and focus to help my clients with their journey toward healing.
Currently, I am earning my master’s degree from Montana State University Billings in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. I am under the clinical supervision of Kathryn Bowen, LCPC.
I am able to offer a reduced fee of $30 per session, which is helpful for those seeking affordable counseling options.
I am eager to continue learning and growing as a therapist and look forward to helping others on their own journey toward healing and self-discovery.
If you are seeking a therapist who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping you achieve your goals, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
